Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 15, 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
CookBook AI is provided by Jeremiah Alexander Meier (“we”, “us”, “CookBook AI”). By accessing or using the site or service at cookbook.enterprises, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The service
CookBook AI provides AI-assisted recipe generation, meal planning, an ingredient scanner, and shopping list tools. Features available to you depend on the plan you are on (Free, Basic, or Pro).
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes;
- send spam, malware, or otherwise interfere with the security of the service;
- scrape, probe, or attempt to circumvent technical limits or access controls;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
5. AI-generated content
Recipes, meal plans, and other outputs are generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or unsuitable suggestions (including for people with allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions). You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, and CookBook AI is not a substitute for professional dietary, nutritional, or medical advice. You must not use the service to generate illegal content, hateful content, content that infringes third-party rights, or content intended to deceive. You are responsible for your prompts and how you use the outputs.
6. Intellectual property
CookBook AI, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with your plan. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep CookBook AI reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of acceptable use. On termination, your right to use the service ends; some content you created may be exported for a reasonable period before deletion.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is prohibited by law.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the site. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to the contact details listed at cookbook.enterprises.
